The spokesman added that the Russian Defense Ministry has the responsibility for answering the question of how Moscow plans to deal with long-range missiles that would be supplied to Ukraine in the future and whether it would attack the places where these weapons are stored.
Sources in the US Congress previously told CNN that Washington’s new aid package to Ukraine includes ATACMS missiles with a range of 290 kilometers.
Before that, Washington, fearing a direct conflict with Moscow, had limited the missiles supplied to Kiev to a range of no more than 160 kilometers so that they could not be used against Russian territory.
