The poll showed that negative assessment of Yoon’s performance rose nine percentage points to 64 percent following last week’s parliamentary elections, in which the ruling People Power Party (PPP) suffered a crushing defeat.
The survey, conducted by four polling firms among 1,000 four individuals over the age of 18, details that the approval ratings of the PPP and the main opposition Democratic Party (DP) stood at 32 percent for both.
In the polls, the DP bloc won 192 seats in the South Korean Parliament, while the PPP won only 108.
The survey had a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points, more or less with a 95 percent of confidence level.
