National Ballet of Cuba continues tour of Spain

Madrid, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) After its successful debut in Oviedo, Asturias, the National Ballet of Cuba (BNC) continues its extensive tour of Spain, which will take the company to San Lorenzo del Escorial on Friday.

Once again, the BNC will be presenting Don Quixote that will be shown by the prestigious Cuban company, which will stage a rehearsal with the public at Teatro Auditorio del Escorial, in northwestern Madrid.

On Saturday, Don Quixote will be staged in Móstoles, southwest of the Spanish capital, where the company will perform at Teatro del Bosque.

With the same program, the BNC will perform in Toledo, some 80 kilometers from Madrid, at Teatro El Greco and later, on April 17, in Granada, Andalusia, at Teatro García Lorca.

The tour will continue in southern Spain, in Cádiz, a day later in Estepona, where it will present Giselle.

On April 20, the BNC will perform in Malaga, at Teatro Cervantes, where it will take Don Quixote, and on the April 21, it will present a concert program Melilla.

In Alicante, the Cuban company will perform in on April 23 during International Book Day and Spanish Language Day, at Teatro Principal, also with Don Quixote.

Back in southern Spain, the BNC will have two performances of Don Quixote at Teatro Auditorio, in Murcia, until April 27, and on April 28 in Altea, the Valencian Community, the company will stage Giselle at Teatro Auditorio.

In Catalonia in May, the Cuban company will stage Don Quixote and Giselle in Terrasa, at the Cultural Factory; San Cugat, Teatro Auditorio Theater, and Manresa, Teatro Kursall.

On May 10, the company will be in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, at the Bethlehem Cultural Center, on two occasions.

After returning to Spain on May 15, the Cuban company will be at the Santander Sports Palace, with the premiere of a ballet choreographed by Roser Muñoz, with music by Andrea Morricone.

In Seville, capital of Andalusia, the BNC will perform at the Cartuja Center CITE with Don Quixote and on May 22 with the same chorography in Logroño, La Rioja, at Teatro Bretón de los Herreros.

During the tour, the BNC will travel to the central north, to León, with Giselle on May 24 and Don Quixote on May 25 in Salamanca.

The tour will end in Torrejón de Ardoz, at Teatro Municipal José María Rodero Municipal, and on May 30 in Zaragoza, with four performances at Teatro Principal until June 2.
