The emergency management agency told Sputnik that more than 1,970 houses, 10,186 household plots, 190 low-water bridges, and 120 sections of roadway have been affected by the floods.
Rescuers from the Emergencies Ministry are constantly monitoring the flood situation with drones. Boat crossings, deliveries of food, and other essential items are being organized.
In Orenburg Province, south of the Urals, the hardest-hit region by flooding, nearly 1,100 homes remain flooded, and until now, about 2,200 residents have been evacuated.
More than 1,000 people and 440 vehicles have been deployed to help contain the damage.
