“Once again we demand that international structures stop covering up the Kiev regime and conduct a thorough investigation, as a result of which the truth will finally be known,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told the Sputnik agency.
In the diplomat’s opinion, the exact names of the victims, the time and cause of their death, the presence of traces of the movement of the bodies, as well as those responsible for this terrible crime committed by the Ukrainian authorities must be conclusively cleared up.
The multiple requests that Russia made to international organizations, including the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, to establish the circumstances of what happened, remain unanswered, Zakharova stated.
For the diplomat, “this suggests that the organizers of this monstrous staging have something to hide.”
On April 3rd, 2022, Ukraine accused the Russian army of having murdered dozens of people in the town of Bucha, near Kiev, abandoning the bodies after their withdrawal.
Russia denounced that everything was a setup orchestrated by the Ukrainian army to blame Moscow and encourage the West to impose more sanctions, and demanded an independent international investigation to establish the truth of what happened.
