The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the international community to protect the Palestinian people in light of the systematic violence in that country.
The Foreign Ministry condemned in a dispatch the ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of the population in the occupied territories.
In that regard, it denounced attacks on Palestinian Bedouin communities, especially those in the northern Jordan Valley, Masafer Yatta and Hebron, all in the West Bank.
The Ministry stated that those actions aim to force local inhabitants to leave their homes and after confiscate their lands.
The settlers’ crimes are being committed under the official cover of Benjamin Netanyahu’s Government, especially with the supervision, support, and protection of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and head of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, the Ministry asserted.
“Smotrich, Ben Gvir, and other leaders of the colonialist and racist extreme right aim to (…) sabotage the efforts made to resolve the conflict by political means,” the Ministry warned.
