“The specialists of the Russian Emergencies Ministry completely eliminated the effects of the fire and completed the removal of debris in the Crocus City Hall,” according to a press release published by the Sputnik news agency.

The text noted that “further mechanized work will be done using engineering equipment,” adding that more than 900 cubic meters of collapsed structures have been dismantled and removed.

The news agency added that more than 1,000 people and more than 300 units of equipment in total participated in the operations.

On March 22, a group of gunmen fired on a crowd gathered at the Crocus City Hall just minutes before the start of a rock band’s concert.

The shooting was followed by a fire, which, according to the Ministry of Emergencies, affected an area of nearly 13,000 square meters.

According to the latest official data, the terrorist attack resulted in 139 dead and about 180 wounded.
