At a meeting with the general secretary of the Fateh Movement (ruling party) of Palestine, Lieutenant General Jebreel Alrjoub, the head of State also criticized human rights organizations for their silence on the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people, which he described as a hypocritical attitude.

Sheikh Hasina noted the need for unity within the Muslim community to ensure their security and alleviate the misery of Palestinians.

She reiterated her unwavering support for the Palestinians, demanded an immediate ceasefire in the territories tormented by Tel Aviv and condemned the killing of thousands of people in Gaza, including women and children, as well as the attacks on hospitals by Israeli forces.

The prime minister recalled that her country sent humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian territories and has raised its voice at every international forum against Israel’s massacre.

After thanking Bangladesh for its position, the general secretary of the Fateh Movement ratified the urgency for an end to the attacks against his people with effective actions by the international community.

He described what is happening right now on the occupied territories as torture, where there is an acute food crisis and people are dying of hunger.

Alrjoub, who gave Hasina a letter from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, reiterated that recognition of the Palestinian State is the only way to resolve the crisis.
