International authorities reject attack on Moscow

Moscow, Mar 22 (Prensa Latina) International authorities expressed on Friday their condolences for today’s terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Russia’s capital, which caused civilian casualties.

“We strongly condemn that brutal murder of innocent people, for which there can be no justification,” Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

Lukashenko assured that all those who participated in the planning and execution of this act of violence will be identified and will receive the punishment they deserve.

Meanwhile, the United Nations (UN) Spokesman Farhan Haq explained to Sputnik Agency that the organization is dismayed by the attack on the concert hall in Moscow, and is monitoring the situation.

Likewise, Venezuela’s Foreign Minister Ivan Gil condemned the armed attack and expressed his condolences to the victims’ families.

Previously, the Spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova urged the entire world community to reject the “bloody terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall,” on Telegram.

The Russian Federal Security Service reported at least 40 deaths and over 100 injured due to the attack.

In that regard, the agency detailed that the special services are launching operational actions and search for those involved, while measures are being taken to help the injured.

The authorities informed that the shooting started in the concert hall and in the lobby at once. The attackers dressed in camouflage reportedly set fire to the seats in the facility, which quickly spread to almost the entire building.
