Cuba takes advantage of the event to reaffirm its willingness to continue strengthening bilateral friendship and cooperation relations with Tunisia, the Cuban Foreign Ministry (MINREX) posted on X.
As part of the Cuban-Tunisian ties, in 2023 opportunities were explored to promote business in the agri-food industry, tourism, fertilizers for agriculture among others.
In this regard, Tunisia´s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Cuba´s Chamber of Commerce have since 2001 a Cooperation Agreement to contribute to the development of mutual economic and trade relations.
