The Syrian Ministry of Defense issued a statement reporting that the strike was launched from the occupied Syrian Golan against positions in the Damascus province.
The air defense intercepted some of the missiles, while the rest caused material damage.
Military sources consulted by Prensa Latina confirmed that the attack destroyed two ammunition dumps in military camps near the city of Yabroud, about 80 kilometers northeast of the capital.
A similar attack last Sunday resulted in an injured soldier and material damage.
Israel constantly bombards Syrian territory under the pretext of attacking pro-Iranian militias, while Damascus claims that these acts constitute a violation of its sovereignty and international law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities and put an end to these attacks.
