Cited in Diario El Salvador, the minister said that the investment will benefit 1,250 families and resulted from a loan granted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

According to the managing entity, loans of a maximum amount of 40,000 dollars will be granted for buildings with green components and targeted to a majority percentage of women.

Sol indicated that the Housing System would work hand in hand with private entrepreneurs to facilitate the conditions for them to build projects that meet these requirements.

The IDB is one of the international organizations that provide us with funding to meet the high demand of our clients, and thanks to the good management of the funds, we could have obtain this new loan, Sol said.
