Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian also ratified support to Cuban authorities to improve its people’s living conditions.

“As Cuba’s good friend, partner, and brother, China will continue helping Cuba overcome its current hardships,” Lin added.

The spokesperson took the opportunity to point out that the longstanding US policy of a total blockade against Cuba has caused severe difficulties for the development of Cuba and the livelihood of its people.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel denounced on Sunday that US-based terrorist groups are encouraging actions against the country’s internal order, taking advantage of the harsh situation Cuba is undergoing.
