Terekhin remarked, during a meeting with IPDC Executive Director Aklilu Tadesse, on ways to consolidate investment cooperation between the two countries.

The Russian ambassador asserted that the diplomatic mission encourages Moscow companies to use opportunities in Addis Ababa and invest in industrial parks. He revealed that a delegation of his country’s business community will shortly visit this country as a pre-investment engagement.

Tadesse, in turn, stressed the need for Ethiopia and Russia to enhance their investments and described the long-standing bilateral relations as a fertile ground for doing so.

The Russian diplomat also visited the Hawassa Industrial Park and appreciated the ongoing infrastructure development, which he described as a better destination for foreign investments.
