The main commemoration is at the mausoleum where Chávez’s rests remains in the Mountain Barracks, in the city of Caracas, where the people and the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) will pay eternal tribute to their imperishable leader.
Ana Cabezas, director of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez Foundation, told Venezolana de Televisión on Monday that the people will go to that homeland sacred place to “pay tribute” to the Bolivarian leader, as they do every 5th of March.
Cabezas explained that the program of activities includes visits to the exhibition halls, and the public could enjoy the photographic exhibition entitled “Hope is in the streets,” the theme of the commemoration.
President Nicolas Maduro wrote on his X account Monday that Chávez “is still with us, in every struggle, in every action, and in the heart of each of us who love this country.”
The salvo that shakes all of Caracas each day will be heard at 16:30 hours, local time, Cabezas indicated.
