During a meeting with Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Tsuji Kyoto, Abbas reiterated his categorical rejection of the displacement of Palestinian citizens from the occupied territories, Wafa informed.
The president warned that accepting or dealing with Israeli plans to separate the Gaza Strip from the rest of the Palestinian territories is not possible.
Abbas also called for an urgent influx of more aid to the territory, which has been under bombardment since October 7, 2023.
The president briefed the visitor on the latest developments regarding the aggression against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, the news agency reported.
Earlier, Palestinian Acting Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh, who joined in the condemnation of the Israeli army’s operations, also received the Japanese official.
Israel has turned Gaza into an extermination camp after the death of nearly 30,000 citizens, he stressed.
