Ichiro Hara, managing director of the Federation, leading the Japanese delegation, met with Ethiopian State Minister of Finance, Semereta Sewasew, who was accompanied by Tokyo’s Ambassador here, Shibata Hironori, and senior officials from the Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs.

Sewasew appreciated the entrepreneurs’ intention to participate in development activities in the African country and urged the companies to discover their investment potential.

The visiting delegation expressed enthusiasm to expand existing and new trade activities in Addis Ababa.

They inquired about the ongoing economic reforms and investment opportunities in various sectors, including mining, agriculture, energy, and macroeconomic performance in Ethiopia.
