Cubans residing in Venezuela will hold their 5th National Meeting

Caracas, Feb 16 (Prensa Latina) The Association of Cuban Residents in Venezuela (Accreven) will hold on February 24 in the state of Carabobo, north of the country, its V National Meeting, in which they will discuss important issues, it was reported here today.

A press release from the organization pointed out that the gathering will be held in the year of the 46th anniversary of the historic dialogue between the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro (1926-2016) and 75 representatives of the entire spectrum of Cuban emigration in the United States and other countries.

The note called for the participation of Accreven associates and Cuban residents in general.

It stressed that the meeting will follow up on the debates and experiences of the IV Conference The Nation and Emigration, held on November 18 and 19, 2023 in Havana.

It will also take stock of the work carried out in recent years by the different state associations, strengthening ties among them and with the affiliates of the Venezuela-Cuba Friendship and Mutual Solidarity Movement.
