The event, to be held at the local Cuban Association of Artisans and Artists (ACAA), will pay tribute to World Artisan Day, which is celebrated on March 19, and showcase the talent of artisans and artists nationwide.
According to the event’s official Facebook page, the program will include a craft fair with the participation of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (FCBC, in Spanish), exhibitions, sociocultural projects, and ceramics.
One of the event’s activities is that the artists participating in the festival will exchange with members of Canada’s “Heart in Hand” project to share experiences and practices in the world of handicrafts and arts.
The website states that during the event, the audience will enjoy exhibitions of works by creators of textile, handicraft, and footwear products.
Since its first edition in 2022, the Artisan Artist National Festival has promoted dialogue among creators across the country and the creation of handicrafts by experienced creators and the new generations.
