Belliboni explained on X that he would go to the Federal Courts of the capital accompanied by members of his organization and the Left Front.
Last week, the head of state published on Instagram an image of himself transformed into the Terminator, alluding to the US cult film. The publication identified Belliboni, union members, deputies, and governors as targets, which is why Buenos Aires legislator Gabriel Solano warned about its seriousness.
“It is practically a death threat. According to the symbology of the film, it means exterminating a person. It is serious coming from the head of the Executive Branch, given that he not only has the security forces, but his message can function as an instigation,” he noted.
In a similar sense, the general secretary of the Association of State Workers in the capital, Daniel Catalano, sent a letter document to the President demanding an end to statements of this type.
“This does nothing more than promote hate speech and violence, in addition to being discriminatory, contrary to the Constitution, and a threat. We hold him criminally and civilly responsible for any consequences,” Catalano pointed out in the letter, adding that “It only demonstrates its contempt for the rule of law, freedom of association and democracy. It takes us back to the darkest times.”
