The report sentenced that in general, the damage to the Finnish economy, companies and jobs due to the political strikes against government reforms is almost one billion euros.
The unions oppose the reforms of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s government, including pension reforms, sick leave payments, unemployment benefits, insurance, simplification of dismissals and a ban on strikes.
Union strikes in various sectors of the Finnish economy are scheduled for the current week.
