Argentine workers criticize Milei’s publication

Buenos Aires, Feb 9 (Prensa Latina) The representation of the State Workers Association (ATE) in this capital city, confirmed the sending of a letter-document to the Argentinean president, Javier Milei, to demand the end of violent pronouncements against leaders and citizens.

The letter was signed by the secretary general of ATE in this city, Daniel Catalano, and in it the group criticizes the publication by the president of an image of himself as the Terminator.

The photo, presented on the social network Instagram, alludes to an American film in which a creature composed of organic and cybernetic elements travels through time to kill human resistance.

In the photo, the leader of the Polo Obrero, Eduardo Belliboni, trade unionists, deputies and governors are identified as targets.

That does nothing but promote hate speech and violence, besides being discriminatory, contrary to the Constitution, and a threat, the ATE text points out.

It also urges Milei to retract and warns about the possibility of taking legal action against him.

The publication points out that there is an explicit reference to the extermination of trade unionists, leaders, and politicians, which holds him criminally and civically responsible for any consequences derived from his pronunciations.
