In a statement, it was reaffirmed the continuation of its operations against enemy strongholds and the approach of resistance to the U.S. occupation forces in Iraq and the region; as well as the rejection of the massacres committed by the Israeli entity in Gaza.

In this context, the Popular Mobilization Forces reaffirmed their readiness to comply with any order issued by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, to preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation, following the recent US aggression.

Ahead of Washington’s airstrike over Akashat and Al-Qaim regions, the Forces pointed out that the U.S. action is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Iraqi state and an attack on its official security institutions.

In a related statement, Al-Nujaba movement spokesman Hussein al-Moussawi asserted that the aggression is an integral part of the U.S. attempt to cover up its failure after losing its way in the region.

He further refuted White House claims that it informed the Iraqi government about the attacks, calling them a manipulation of public opinion and attempt to destabilize the country’s security institutions.
