Sosa reaffirmed the commitment to enhance the bilateral ties of fraternity between the Plurinational State of Bolivia and China, which she described as a sister nation, and hopes to hold a meeting this year between the foreign ministers of both countries within the framework of the People’s Diplomacy for Life.
2024 marks the 38th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bolivia and China, with a mutual commitment to peace and development, the Foreign Ministry reported.
Chinese Ambassador to Bolivia, Wang Liang, in turn, highlighted the strategic relationship between the two nations, which is experiencing sustainable and stable development, contributing to strengthening the economy of the Plurinational State through bilateral work and industrialization.
The Spring Festival is the major event in the Chinese calendar and symbolizes hope and prosperity. Traditional activities rooted in their culture are performed in connection with the most prosperous season of the year.
