During the program, a TV spot was also shown, in which president Nayib Bukele appealed to the population to vote for the cyan flag, color that identifies the Nuevas Ideas party.
From 12 midnight of Wednesday, propaganda will be prohibited until election day, according to the Electoral Code.
The electoral silence begins on February 1 and ends on February 4, three days before elections and the same day of the elections.
This measure will be activated again on February 29, March 1, 2 and 3, for the elections for mayors and other municipal officials.
