Cuban collaborators and officials, together with solidarity here, highlighted in their respective workplaces relevant aspects of the life and work of the most universal of Cuban politicians, according to a press release from the Cuban Embassy.
The actions in homage to Martí, which this time coincided with the international day at the end of the month for the lifting of the US economic, financial and commercial blockade against Havana, were summarized at a main event on the date in the town of Benque Viejo del Carmen.
The event in that Belizean town, where a street and a tombstone perpetuate the memory of the distinguished Cuban patriot, was attended by Ambassador María Caridad Balaguer, Consul Gustavo Aguinaga and the coordinator of Cuba’s Medical Brigade, Doctor María del Carmen Lozada.
