On his visit to the San Juan de Dios hospital, Cordon explained that he already has a complete study to accomplish that the rest of institutions can provide 24-hour emergency services.

Colon pointed out that the space issue is one of the most urgent situations to be solved in this facility, since it was built over 40 years ago for a specific population and exceeded the capacity, he stressed.

He underscored that compared to decades ago when the health system was established, the population has changed, not only in number, but also in habits.
