According to the Foreign Ministry, experts from the China Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), showed Honduran authorities the results of the visits to 16 schools in the department of Francisco Morazán.
At the meeting, the Honduran Foreign Minister, Enrique Reina, highlighted the technical work being developed to advance in this program, and described it as a priority for both governments, which is the result of the visit of President Xiomara Castro to President Xi Jinping, as part of the recognition of the principle of one China.
“I want to reiterate the interest of President Castro and the Government of Honduras to work in this area, we know and understand that there are two facets to this project; one with the construction part and the other, the equipment part,” he stressed.
He added that the first female president of Honduras wanted to emphasize the priority given to the most forgotten sectors of the Central American nation’s society, such as schools in rural areas.
