Cornejo, from the Monster Energy Honda team, led the race with a time of five hours, 18 minutes and 33 seconds, ahead of Luciano (Husqvarna Factory Racing), 3.12 minutes away, and Kevin (Red Bull Ktm Factory Racing), at 3.32.
After these results, Cornejo climbed to third position in the category, while Kevin anchored in fifth place and Luciano in eighth.
The American Ricky Brabec (Monster Energy Honda), who arrived ninth today, kept the first position in the general table in extremis, with an overall time of 32:37.20 hours, just one second ahead of Ross Branch (Hero Motosports, 32:37.21 ), from Botswana.
Among the Cars, the general classification shows the Spanish Carlos Sainz as the leader, followed by the Frenchman Sebastian Loeb and the Brazilian Lucas Moraes.
Meanwhile, in Quads, the Argentine Manuel Andújar is in first place, ahead of the Frenchman Alexandre Giroud and the Slovakian Juraj Varga.
The eighth round of the 2024 Dakar Rally is scheduled for tomorrow, a 678-kilometer route (458 special), between Ad Dawadimi and Hail.
