Speaking at the event, Ethiopian Ambassador to Beijing, Tefera Deribew, highlighted the strong economic relations between Addis Ababa and Hubei Province and mentioned the construction company Gezhouba Group, which is the founder of this cooperation alliance and engaged in the investment sector in Ethiopia, as quoted by state-owned Fana Broadcasting Corporate.
Deribew also mentioned the Human-Well pharmaceutical company, which is present in Ethiopia. “These companies have significantly contributed to job opportunities for Ethiopian youth and have generated additional revenue for the country’s economy,” he stressed.
The Ethiopian ambassador recalled that we are working closely with the leaders of Wuhuan Engineering Group to construct a fertilizer factory in Addis Ababa. We expect it will reach concrete results soon.
Ethiopia has developed 29 public and private industrial parks to provide investors with ready-made production plants with integral services, adequate infrastructure, and waste treatment facilities.
The diplomat reiterated his Government’s commitment to fostering and improving the existing cordial relations with Hubei Province and China.
