According to the sources, several explosions were heard inside the base, considered the largest in the Arab country, located in Deir Ezzor province, some 450 kilometers northeast of Damascus.
They detailed that at least 30 rockets were fired against US troops. There was still no official statement about the action and whether it caused casualties or material losses.
The attack came 24 hours after a similar one by two Kamikaze drones against the Qasrak base located in Al-Hasakah province.
There are already about 130 actions against the US enclaves in Syria and Iraq, claimed by the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, an ally of the Syrian army in the anti-terrorist struggle and against the occupation.
Washington remains some 15 military bases on Syrian territory without the consent of the Damascus Government nor the approval of the United Nations.
Syria has repeatedly condemned this presence, which it described as an occupation, and assured that the actions of the US military force on its territory encourage terrorist activities and aim at destabilizing the country and plundering its wealth.
