The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Istanbul explained the operation resulted from a series of investigations into the activities of Israel Intelligence on Turkish soil.
According to the TRT television channel, it was confirmed a total of 46 arrest warrants issued and accused some of the alleged spies of “monitoring foreign citizens” and drawing up “kidnapping plans”.
With this strategy, the Eurasian country’s justice system intends to confront actions qualified as international espionage.
In addition to this, the security forces informed that the operations include the apprehension of 13 other suspects as soon as possible.
