The state news agency KCNA reported that in the message, Medvedev congratulated the North Korean leader on the advent of the New Year, and expressed satisfaction with the gradual development of relations between the two countries.

Medvedev recalled that 2023 witnessed the development of cooperation between the two parties, united by the will to establish a just multipolar world order, reject inequality and fight contemporary neocolonialists.

The Russian leader reaffirmed the position of enhancing cooperation for the welfare of the two peoples and further strengthening the joint operation for the sake of peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.

He expressed hope for Kim’s good health and new victories and for the peace and well-being of all the people of the DPRK.
