According to the scheduled agenda, at around 11:00, local time, he will begin the ceremony in the Congress during which he will receive the presidential sash and baton from the hands of the outgoing President, Alberto Fernandez.

After the handover, he will deliver a speech on the steps of the legislative seat, at which time he called on citizens to attend accompanied by Argentine flags.

After his speech, he will go to the Casa Rosada and will participate in an interreligious mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral. After that ceremony, he will receive foreign heads of state and authorities and at 5:30 p.m. he will swear in his future ministers in the presence of the Public Government Notary.

At 8:00 p.m. there will be a gala performance at the Colón Theater, during which the play Madame Butterfly will be presented.
