Compiled by Luis Zarranz and Francisco Farina, the text gathers articles by creators, researchers and intellectuals from both countries, including Silvio Rodriguez, Mariela Castro, Jorge Fornet, Ernesto Teuma, Llanisca Lugo, Atilio Boron, Pedro Brieger, Stella Calloni, Fernando Borroni, Claudia Korol and Magdiel Sanchez.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. local time at the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación in Buenos Aires and will be attended by Zarranz, Farina, Brieger, Calloni, Korol, Borroni and Víctor Sabanes, from Marea Ediciones.
The book takes its title from a verse of a song by Rodríguez (El necio) and analyzes the achievements, challenges and projections of the revolutionary process in Cuba.
The only sin we committed is not giving up our independence, trying our own solutions and assuming the cost of wanting to be different, Rodríguez wrote in his work for this volume.
The presentation of this book is also an opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Argentina, as well as the ties of friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
