The Cuban delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Josefina Vidal and the Bolivian side was headed by acting Deputy Foreign Minister Marissa Castro.
The talks covered a broad agenda that included the current state of bilateral relations, economic-commercial and cooperation ties between both nations as well as multilateral and regional issues of common interest.
Plus, the meeting was the perfect setting for both sides to review the bilateral relations in recent years including high-level exchanges, implementation of cooperation in sectors of mutual interest such as agri-food, public health, environment, culture and sports.
The Cuban delegation reaffirmed its gratitude for Bolivia´s firm support regarding the worldwide condemnation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US government and the call for the immediate exclusion of Cuba from the arbitrary States Sponsor of Terrorism (SST) list.
