In that regard, the French Government considered that the international community has a role to play in putting an end to these incidents, “which have a destabilizing impact and undermine the prospects for peace (…)”.

In its statements, the Foreign Ministry insisted on its position that the Palestinian National Authority “is the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinians” and that Israel must stop withholding resources allocated to that entity.

It assured that the country’s highest authorities, headed by President Emmanuel Macron, have been mobilized since October 7 to find a way out of the crisis.
