In statements to reporters, PSUV First Vice President Diosdado Cabello celebrated and congratulated Sunday’s elections, which he stated that they took place “without mistakes, fights, or strange excuses”, alluding to the opposition’s primary elections held in October.
Cabello praised that a practical lesson was given to the “fraudsters who say they are doing elections” and congratulated the National Electoral Council (CNE), all structures, and those who attended nationwide.
The PSUV’s first vice president said it was “beautiful” to see people come out to vote with joy, and he acknowledged those who participated in an orderly, civic manner and those who went to vote “with their hearts in their hands.”
He predicted that December 3 would be an extraordinary and beautiful day in which all Venezuelans and “all of us who love this country” would vote.
The world will be amazed at what the Venezuelan people are capable of doing, “some will understand why Venezuelans are the way they are and (Simón) Bolivar did what he did,” he stressed.
