The Russian leader expressed in his address to the participants in the meeting, that the two nations cooperate bilaterally and within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the BRICS, and other international structures,
He went on to add that Moscow and Beijing coordinate their activities to solve the most relevant international problems and thus contribute to the formation of a more just and democratic world order.
According to Putin, collaboration between United Russia and the Communist Party of China favors the progressive development of ties between the two countries.
The Russian president wished the forum participants success in their work and expressed his confidence that the ideas expressed would forward even greater progress in bilateral relations.
In turn, Chinese President Xi Jinping highlighted that relations between both countries resist the challenges of the international situation and Beijing intends to develop them.
“The world has entered a new period of turbulence and transformations. Chinese-Russian relations have withstood the test of rapid changes in the international environment,” Xi said.
