Terre, president of the World Council of University Scholars and Researchers (COMAU), has a long résumé, and says, “One must always be a defender of human causes.” He boosts scientific projects that can help and reach many people.
On its X account, the Cuban Embassy in El Salvador posted, “Terre will be in Havana on Saturday and Sunday, November 9, for the fourth time, to attend this dialogue table of Cubans abroad.”
“We are committed to thinking about history and the future. Honor to Cuba and Cubans,” the scholar wrote on Facebook.
Terre, currently president of the World Association for Special Education and the World Organization for Early Childhood Education, Stimulation and Development, is considered one of the most authoritative voices in understanding inclusive education.
In El Salvador, Terre participates with First Lady Gabriela de Bukele in early childhood development programs.
Concerning his participation in the meeting with Cubans in Havana he said, “Cuba goes with me,” something that sums up his commitment to the nation and all Cubans.
