On his X account, the Cuban head of State ratified his willingness to continue to strengthening relations between the country’s peoples and governments.
Sánchez was confirmed by the King Felipe VI on Friday at the head of the Moncloa Palace, after achieving his continuity in a vote of the Congress of Deputies in which he won 179 seats, three more than required.
His victory was possible after agreements between the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) and Junts and the Republican Left of Catalonia, and thanks to the support of the Sumar coalition; PNV and EH Bildu of the Basque Country; BNG of Galicia; and Canarian Coalition.
