We expect new regulations and reforms as a broader and more effective insertion in the economy of our country, Mesa stressed in statements to Prensa Latina due to the Conference, to be held in Havana on November 18-19.

The executive collected several concerns in a recent meeting with the associates to expose them in the forum and hopes that this new edition strengthens once again the dialogue, discusses and projects the future of relations of residents abroad with our homeland.

The ACRCR president will bring other concerns such as migratory and consular aspects, the preservation of national identity, and a greater rapprochement of the descendants of Cuba and their origins.

The new measures, such as passport validity extension, renewal elimination, and cost reduction, implemented in response to old demands, are considered important achievements.

ACRCR Vice President Osiel Fernandez expressed satisfaction with the resumption of these meetings between Cuban residents in Cuba and abroad.

The return to this meeting has a great connotation because many people outside Cuba want to help and know the need to achieve the elimination of the blockade, Fernandez told Prensa Latina.
