The official spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeina, said in a statement that Washington must immediately stop “the war of genocide that Israel is waging in the Strip.”
The constant threats to perpetuate the occupation on our lands will not bring security to anyone, he stressed.
Abu Rudeina assured that stability in the region will only be achieved when the Israeli occupation ends and the Palestinians can create a sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Speaking yesterday at an Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas blamed the United States for the lack of a peace agreement in the Levant.
Washington, which has the most influence over Israel, is responsible for the absence of a political solution in this conflict, and therefore we demand that it stop its partner, the leader said.
“Our Palestinian people are exposed to the most horrendous and brutal aggression, including an unprecedented war of annihilation, at the hands of the cowardly Israeli war machine,” he denounced.
Abbas stressed that since the beginning of the new cycle of violence on October 7, the Armed Forces of that nation killed or wounded more than 40,000 civilians, most of them children, women, and the elderly.
