Hanoi is ready to continue its substantive and productive cooperation with Moscow in all areas in pursuit of both peoples’ interests, in addition to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world, Minh Chinh stressed when receiving Russian Minister for Emergency Situations Aleksandr Kurenkov.
The head of Vietnamese Government suggested that the two nations further increase the exchange of delegations at all levels and use existing cooperation mechanisms effectively, especially the intergovernmental committee.
The prime minister also recommended that the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Vietnamese Ministries of Public Security and Defense strengthen the exchange of delegations and share more experience in warning and preventing emergencies.
Russia pays attention to the traditional relations with Vietnam and wants to promote them in all fields, said Kurenkov, who pledged to work to promote bilateral cooperation, VNA reported.
Vietnamese Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang met with Kurenkov on Thursday and stressed that cooperation in this area continues to be fruitful and is a pillar of the relations between the two countries.
