During the celebration of Iran Day at the 39th edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2023), the diplomat expressed that he has “an optimistic vision towards the future and hopes for a greater presence of Iranian companies in other editions of the fair and further development of bilateral relations between both countries.”

He announced that there are specific plans such as the establishment of supermarkets and the supply of cosmetic, food and cleaning products to Cuba, and emphasized the importance of the rehabilitation of Cuban industries and the possibility of producing machinery in Cuba with the collaboration of Iranian companies.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, Fashat Boggini, said that despite several complex circumstances, both countries have demonstrated their commitment to working together in search of peace, the defense of national sovereignty, and economic and social development.

He recalled that Iran has potential in sectors such as energy, petrochemical industry, and medicine, among others.
