Several Turkish opposition media outlets and social media reported that Erdogan had allegedly agreed to accept one million Palestinian refugees into the country in exchange for money.
According to the Center for Combatting Disinformation under the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate, the report is for sure, and the information is completely fabricated.
There were no negotiations by our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan nor a statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept one million Palestinians in our territory in exchange for two million dollars, the anti-disinformation center informed.
These statements are unfounded, noted a press release.
Earlier, in the context of the military conflict in the Middle East, the Turkish leader said he no longer considered Netanyahu his interlocutor and crossed him off his dialogue list.
