Mexico City, Nov 7 (Prensa Latina) The Electoral Judicial School (EJE) of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of Mexico, and the Center for Public Administration Studies of the University of Havana, started today a Master Class.

The title is “Professionalization of the public function and due process”, and the objective is for public servants to acquire specialization in the matter, with a focus on due process, Gabriela Ruvalcaba, director of EJE, said.

On the Cuban side, Noris Tamayo, director of the Center for Public Administration Studies of the University of Havana, said that these master classes are the realization of a dream and thanked the EJE for promoting the actions contained in a collaboration agreement between the two institutions.

She emphasized that it also represents a new stage of visualizing actions beyond the legal field, and looking from a multidisciplinary point of view to cover topics and issues that are part of the daily life of public servants.

During the opening message of this joint master class cycle, the director of the EJE emphasized that the training of public servants in electoral law has been one of the main goals of the School and they are aware that training in public service and due process is fundamental for state servants.

She said that the establishment of this Master Class, which will consist of 36 classroom and online teaching hours, aims at an academic rapprochement with the University of Havana and generates a collaborative dialogue between institutions dedicated to teaching and training to better-up professionals.
