Yacimientos de Litio Boliviano´s (YLB) sources stated that the production process and the capacity of this factory to operate effectively, safely and under real conditions are being evaluated and verified.

At this stage, work is also being done to identify problems, make adjustments, improve personnel training, and other key actions to achieve a safe start-up, as reported.

According to YLB, in the coming weeks, load tests will continue in the different areas of the complex, which are considered necessary to guarantee the production of lithium carbonate.

This phase represents the first step of a set of activities that includes the lithium industrial production chain, which the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy expects to conclude successfully given the definitive start-up.
