The flooding caused by the downpours damaged over 250 homes and 24 bridges, among other harms, which intensifies the problem and the need for an effective and coordinated response to care for the victims.
The Government decreed a state of national emergency last Friday.
The Secretary of State reported through the National Risk and Contingency Management Offices that this phase will be active throughout the country during the duration of the current cyclone season.
