Petro took advantage of his attendance yo the first Summit of the Alliance for Economic Prosperity in the Americas (APEP), held at the White House, to extend his proposal, although it was not the subject of the meeting.
According to Petro’s initiative, they should hold two peace conferences at the behest of the United Nations General Assembly to find a diplomatic way out of Israel’s wars against the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement known as Hamas, as well as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
